What does it mean when your coach puts a "1" in the gradebook, when you're absent?
That means that you get to make that assignment up!
Can you wear Crocs or Slippers in PE?
No, and you will not receive full credit. Must be tennis shoes.

Dressing out, bellringer, water/restroom.
What is NOT allowed in the gym?
Food, sunflower seeds, gum, phones, purses and bookbags. :)
If you turn in your phone for bonus points, can you check it during class?
No :)
How many BONUS POINTS will you get each day you turn your phone in?
2, which CAN add up to 40 each 9 weeks!!
What is the COMPLETE HHMS PE uniform?
HHMS PE shorts and shirt, with tennis shoes. :)
If you have a doctor's note, do you still need to dress out?
YES! You will be given an alternative assignment to earn your participation points.
What drink is allowed in the gym?
Only water is allowed in the gym.
What happens the first time you get your phone taken?
Your phone will be placed in the phone pockets, behind the coaches, and you will get a warning. Phone will be given back at the end of class.
Will your coaches accept the use of inappropriate language/cursing??
The answer is always NO, and it will be put on a minor tracking form.
If it's cold outside, what can you do with your HHMS PE uniform?
You can wear tights UNDER your PE shorts OR sweatpants OVER your PE shorts. You may also wear a school approved sweatshirt OVER your PE shirt.
Will your coach accept a parent note for not dressing out?
No, parent notes are not an excuse from PE. :)
** Neither is being on your cycle, exercise/movement actually HELPS!
Will you be allowed to leave the gym/locker room?
The answer is always NO.
What is going to happen on your second time you get your phone taken?
The phone will be collected and turned into the discipline office.
What assignment can you do to make up your absence/"1" in the grade book?
You can turn in a 1 paragraph summary (minimum of 5 sentences) summarizing a fitness article. EX: fitness, health, or nutrition.
How will your coaches grade you for being COMPLETELY dressed and participating?
10 points for being completely dressed. 10 points for participating. 20/20 for that day.
How many minutes will you get at the END of class to dress back in?
5-10... Maybe more IF we have GOOD participation during class that day. :)
Why can I NOT dress in the bathroom stalls...?
Because we have limited stalls, and girls need to use the restroom in the 15 minutes allowed.

Gym, Track, Locker Room, OR any outdoor PE activities. :)
Please explain how you're graded each day in PE... break it down.
20 = dressed out and participated
10 = only dressed OR only participated.
0 = did not dress out or participate.
1 = absent (can be made up)
