A series of letters and numbers located on the spine of a library book that indicate the books location in the library. These letters and numbers correlate to specific subjects and authors.

What is a call number?
Available to all faculty, staff, and students, this popular Pendergrass service is the process of creating a three dimensional object from a digital file.
What is 3D printing?
Located in the front half of the library, this space has Mac and PC desktops and printers available.
What is the computer lab?
This resource is intended for researchers, scientists, and students, and is typically written to present research findings and expand knowledge in a discipline or field. This research usually undergoes a process called peer-review.
What is an academic source?
Software that will help you organize citations. Examples include EndNote and Zotero.
What are citation management tools?
Words that are influenced by a research topic that are utilized when searching in online library resources.

These search operators (AND, OR, NOT) allow you to combine and exclude keywords in a search, which may help narrow or broaden your results.

This search tool helps you search for books, articles, and other forms of media available through the library.

Place where you go to pick up items on hold, return books, get research assistance, pay fines, and more.
The Circulation Desk

A classification of literature produced by the government, academics, business and industry in print and electronic formats.

Use this service when you want access to an item unavailable through the UT Library collection.

Subscription based, online portals that host discipline specific resources such as peer review articles, images, datasets, and more.
