"How will Pharoah listen to me? I have a speech impediment!"
וְהִשְׁבַּתֶּ֥ם

Bnei Yisroel
Therefore, they are crying out
וְגַ֣ם ׀ אֲנִ֣י שָׁמַ֗עְתִּי אֶֽת־נַאֲקַת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל
And I (Hashem) have also heard the groans of Bnei Yisroel
Translate in two ways
וַֽיִּפְגְּעוּ֙ אֶת־מֹשֶׁ֣ה וְאֶֽת־אַהֲרֹ֔ן נִצָּבִ֖ים לִקְרָאתָ֑ם
1. And people from Bnei Yisroel met Moshe and Aharon coming out to greet them
2. And Dassan and Aviram met Moshe and Aharon coming out to greet them
נִרְפִּ֥ים אַתֶּ֖ם נִרְפִּ֑ים
Pharoah to the Jewish officers
"you are lazy!"
יִפְגָּעֵ֔נוּ
פְגָּעֵ֔
Punish
נֵלְכָ֖ה נִזְבְּחָ֥ה

Let us go and let us bring Korbanos
וּשְׁמִ֣י ה' לֹ֥א נוֹדַ֖עְתִּי לָהֶֽם
And My (Hashem's) name I did not make know to them (the Avos)
פֶּ֨ן־יִפְגָּעֵ֔נוּ
1. Maybe He (Hashem) will punish us
2. Maybe He (Hashem) will punish YOU
Why didn't Moshe and Aharon say YOU straight out?
What would the word have been if the passuk wanted to say you?
וָאֶזְכֹּ֖ר אֶת־בְּרִיתִֽי

You have made us disgusting
To who?
וְלֹ֤א שָֽׁמְעוּ֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה מִקֹּ֣צֶר ר֔וּחַ
And they (Bnei Yisroel) did not listen to Moshe because of their low spirits
אַתֶּ֗ם לְכ֨וּ קְח֤וּ לָכֶם֙ תֶּ֔בֶן
You (Bnei Yisroel) go quickly with zerizus and get straw for yourselves
כַּלּ֤וּ מַעֲשֵׂיכֶם֙ דְּבַר־י֣וֹם בְּיוֹמ֔וֹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר בִּהְי֥וֹת הַתֶּֽבֶן
The taskmasters to Bnei Yisrael
"finish your work, each day's quota on that day, like when you had straw"

The Jewish officers
And they were hit
Why?
וַֽיִּפְגְּעוּ֙ אֶת־מֹשֶׁ֣ה וְאֶֽת־אַהֲרֹ֔ן נִצָּבִ֖ים לִקְרָאתָ֑ם
And they (the Jewish officers) met Moshe and Aharon standing to greet them
וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֵלָ֖יו אֲנִ֥י ה
And Hashem spoke to Moshe with Midas Hadin (judgement) and said to him, "I am Hashem who gives good reward to those who go before me"
לֹ֣א תֹאסִפ֞וּן לָתֵ֨ת תֶּ֧בֶן לָעָ֛ם לִלְבֹּ֥ן הַלְּבֵנִ֖ים כִּתְמ֣וֹל שִׁלְשֹׁ֑ם הֵ֚ם יֵֽלְכ֔וּ וְקֹשְׁשׁ֥וּ לָהֶ֖ם תֶּֽבֶן
Pharoah to the Mitzri taskmasters
" Do not continue to give straw to the nation to build bricks like yesterday and the day before. They must go and gather their own straw"
