Member was deployed to a hostile fire/imminent danger area. Member reported back to parent command from his IA tour on 1/3/2018 and you're his pay clerk. As his pay clerk, you're supposed to stop his in theater entitlements: Hardship duty, Imminent Danger, FSA, Tax free. (Departure date 1/1/2018). What date should you stop his entitlements and what are the FIDS will I see on MMPA? ***NOTE: on departure date the bomb went off and member was still in the vicinity.
stop his Hardship Duty on 1/1/2018, IDP 1/31/2018, FSA 1/1/2018, Tax Free 1/31/2018.
FIDS: 1402, 2302, 6502, FL02.
****NOTE: Reason 23 stops at the end of the Month because there's an attack and member was in vicinity, then he/she is entitled to the full month according to DOD FMR VOL 7A. regardless what date member departs.
