This stage involves taking time to research and plan the steps one needs to take to make a change in their life
Preparation Stage
A lot of people smoke 3 packs of cigarettes a day, I don't see a problem with it
Pre Contemplation
I am powerless over my drug addiction
I admit to God and myself I have a problem
Step 1
The type of drug that includes amphetamines, cocaine, caffeine, and nicotine
Stimulants
The number of weeks it takes before one is eligible for their weekend pass
3 weeks
This stage involves maintaining the changes you have made
Maintenance
I know that my drug use is negatively affecting me but I still don't know if I'll be able to stop using
Contemplation
I believe a power greater than myself can restore us to sanity
Step 2
The category of drugs that includes heroin, alcohol, Xanax, and barbiturates
Depressants
The amount of days one has to wait before they are eligible for their first phone call
7 days
The stage in which one denies having a problem and ignores damage from negative behaviors
Pre contemplation
I can't do this anymore, I'm 'finna' shoot up
Relapse
Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
Step 3
The category of drugs that includes LSD, peyote, psilocybin mushrooms, and amanita muscara (fly agaric)
Hallucinogens
The three levels of treatment offered by PFH for adolescents
Residential, Day treatment, outpatient
The stage in which one realizes they have a problem and starts to think about the negative consequences of their actions
Contemplation
I've started looking into different rehab centers, as well as started researching various counselors I could see to get help.
Preparation
Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves
Step 4
The category of drugs that includes PCP, ketamine, and benadryl (when taken in high enough doses)
Dissociatives
If one gets three or more of these in a week, they'll be stuck eating pink chicken on Saturday (due to losing their pass)
Class 3 write ups
The "stage" that can occur at any point in the stages of change, not something you would like to happen (Hopefully)
Relapse
I've successfully completed treatment and don't have a desire to smoke. I plan to go to an AA meeting tomorrow
Maintenance
Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others
Step 9
The category of drugs that includes bromo dragonfly, k2, bath salts, and various 'research chemicals' amongst others
