This process is ongoing, involving the development of new drugs, reformulation or changes in the chemical formulas of current drugs, and the collection of new information about specific drugs.

Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990
This mandates that all Pharmacists provide patient counseling and review the medical Histories of all medical patients. Many states are now making this mandatory for ALL patients.
