If contact tracing is necessary it is important to have the patron's information. Additionally library policy states that " New York Public Library cards are non-transferable. Users must use their own library card to register for an assigned session. The use of a friend or family member's library card is not permitted and may result in the suspension of computer privileges. "

*There is an ongoing display on these computers that will show you how to create an email / open a web browser /etc
*There is a printed guide near your computer that you can use during your computer appointment to help guide you.
*NEW Ask NYPL has a service box that you can use while logged into a terminal. Allow me to show you where it's located on your PC! This is a great way that a person can chat with you to walk you through problems that you may be experiencing.
