What is a phase change?
When matter changes from solid, liquid, or gas into another.
Give me an example of a solid.
A desk, post-it notes, a chair, etc.

Ex. water, honey, coffee, etc.
Do gases gave a definite shape?
No! They move to fill any container that they are put in.
What phenomenon happens when sun hits water droplets in the sky, making colours?

The phase change where liquid turns slowly into a gas.
Ex. A puddle on a hot, sunny day.
What does "definite shape" mean?
That a solid always holds it's shape. It will not flow like a liquid.

This is the temperature at which a liquid turns into a solid.

Are gases compressible?
Yes! It just moves the particles closer together.
These are formed when balls of ice are heated and cooled. Layers of ice form and they fall from the sky quickly.
