This tradition started in 1913 and has evolved over the years. The seniors and freshmen team up to compete against the sophomores and juniors in a variety of competitions that span a few weeks.

Who is "Lisa Left Eye Lopes"?
This school tradition begins with the procession of members of the school's Treble Clef Choir through a completely dark auditorium. Each choir member carries a single lit candle. The show continues with performances by the school's various extracurricular groups and ethnic clubs.
What is Songs of the Season ?
This statue represents the goddess Niké, whose head and arms are missing, and its base in the shape of a ship's bow.
What is the "Winged Victory" Statue?

This globally recognized college admission test that allows students to show colleges what they know and how well you can apply that knowledge, assesses students in reading, writing and math comprehension. This assessment is given annually to Girls High Students.

This tradition is a year long tradition where older students are paired with younger students to provide transitional support.

This academic program challenges students to excel not only in their studies but also in their personal growth. This program requires students to preform at a challenging level across all content subjects.

This current academic School District of Philadelphia high school, now holds class on what was the first location for PHSG.
What is "Masterman High School" ?
This annual ceremony once occurred at the Academy of Music, now the Kimmel Center, is where All participants wear white dresses and carry a bouquet of red carnations.
