A woman fleeing an abusive partner walked into our Y seeking help, having driven all the way from Texas. Our staff immediately connected her with HAWC, where she received legal counsel, housing support, and advocacy. Three months later, she is employed and reunited with her children, thanks to the life-changing support from HAWC and the resources available through our partnership - and our amazing staff.

This program provides an inclusive afterschool experience that eliminates barriers to high-quality arts education. By integrating creative activities directly into the afterschool program, it removes obstacles such as cost, transportation, and time, ensuring all children have access to the transformative power of the arts.

Thank you so much for the extra support you provided to my child during camp this summer. With your encouragement and guidance, they gained so much confidence and truly thrived in a way we hadn’t seen before. We are so grateful for the impact your program has had on their growth and self-esteem.

When a principal reached out for support, our Y quickly responded by providing a membership for a family experiencing a housing crisis. This allowed them access to exercise and play facilities during a difficult time, offering them a safe space to find comfort and strength as they navigated their situation.
