Explain Fiscal Year 2014 as you would to a Prospect on the phone.
Right now we are in Fiscal Year 2014. It runs from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014. This means that any gift you pledge right now would not be due back until June 30, 2014, but feel free to send it back at your earliest convenience. The sooner you send in your gift the sooner it can be used to benefit students here at Saint Rose.

A prospect says they work for a matching gift company. They pledge $100. What do you do on the CampusCall screen?
1. Select: Specified Pledge 2. Enter the pledge amount $100.00 3. Go to the bottom Right hand corner to the matching gift section. Hit Search and search the prospects company to check the ratio they will match. (Ex: 1:1) 4. Input this ratio into the pledge screen. 5. Check the top of the screen. It should say: Pledge: $100.00 Match: $100.00 Total: $200.00

Prospect says: "Just send me a form. I’ll send you something in the mail."
“That’s terrific. I really appreciate your interest. Could you give me some idea of what you might be considering as a gift? Your support is important, and we would really like to count it in tonight’s totals. Explain the steps for inputting a Recurring Gift into the CampusCall screen & Acceptiva. Go through the entire process from entering the pledge to the thank you notes. Hint: (Somewhere around 15 steps).
1. Click: Specified Pledge 2. Enter total dollar amount for the YEAR. 3. Select # of Payments: Monthly 4. Check the monthly gifts & the total amount and make sure it matches the numbers on your Ask Matrix. 5. Select Process Credit 6. Launch Custom 7. Re-enter the MONTLY gift. (You must change this because it is prefilled with Total gift which is incorrect. 8. Check information 9. Enter Credit Card. 10. Make sure it is ALL correct. 11. Process Credit Card. Wait till it says the Transaction is complete. 12. X out of the page 13. Input SUCESS in Credit Card box with the type of credit card. 14. Continue with an e-mail. 15. Don't write a handwritten note.

What is the purpose of a Recurring Gift?
To get the Prospect to give a dollar amount CONTINUOUSLY with no endind date. We will call them in a year to ask and increase and to update any Credit Card information!

What is the difference between Restricted Giving and Unrestriced Giving.
Unrestricted: Gifts can be used for a wide variety of purposes targeted at what the College needs most right now. Restricted: Gifts go to a specific spending area (scholarships, athletics, specific departments, etc.).

What is the Attendance Policy?
If you are going to be absent you must e-mail the KnightWire@strose.edu account. You have two free absences to start the semester. You will use those first. Once those two are used you must make up the full shift you missed within 2 weeks of the absence.
