1) sound waves are funneled into the ear cannal from the outer ear, 2) sound waves bounce into and vibrate the eardrum, 3) the inner ear bones wiggle the cochlea which is a snail like sack that's filled with liquid and lined with hairs, 4) those hairs convert vibration into electrical impulses that run to your brain by nerves.
how does a gong or a drum make a sound. explain it.
striking the drum or gong makes the material vibrate. that vibration causes sound waves to make the air vibrate and transmits the sound. the faster the vibration, the higher the pitch. So the bigger the drum, the lower the drum will sound.
