Explain why labels such as "humane", "cage-free", "free-range", and "grass-fed" can be misleading.

"Humanely" raised animals are still slaughtered the same, and shipped to the slaughterhouse in severe weather.

"Cage-Free" birds are still crammed in small living spaces suffering injuries and forced to live in their own waste.

"Free-Range" birds technically have access to the outdoors, but there is often not enough space for all of them, and entrances to the outdoor space are often blocked by too many birds trying to get out at once.

"Grass-Fed" does not mean humane and cruelty-free by any means. Grass-Fed animals may also contribute to destruction of the environment more than grain-fed animals.
