What are the 10 steps of chairing?
Before the Service Project/Fellowship
1. Decide whether you want to chair a week before the event.
2. Click “Make me Chair” on the calendar.
3. Email the Service VP that you’re chairing and request information about the project (if you’re chairing a service event).
4. Three days before the project, send an email reminder to everyone who signed up for the event, with any relevant details.
5. One day before the event, remind everyone who signed up again.
Day of the Service/Fellowship
6. Arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting time of your event.
7. Give 15 minutes before flaking someone.
8. Everyone must wear pins for service. Collect money for the drivers.
9. Sing the toast song.
After the Event
10. Evaluate event and assign hours accordingly.
