What should you do if you are having trouble with a child and they are causing a distraction?
Grab the service leader as soon as you can, so they can talk to the child individually.
If i get a notification on monday, how long do i have to respond?
We ask that everyone responds to planning center notifications by Wednesday.

Who is permitted to do Check out?
Anyone over 18 can do check out.
I am an adult & I am with a teenager serving. What do I do if I need to step out of the room for a minute?
Get the service coordinator or service leader to stand in your spot while you are out of the room.
How do I block out dates on planning center?
Go to services app, press "schedule" on the bottom left. Then, go to "add blockout" and add in the dates you will not be able to serve.

What do you do as a volunteer if a parent comes into the room with their child & is staying for longer than a few minutes?
Encourage the parent to go to service and say we can get the parent if the child is upset for more than 5 minutes. If the parent still will not leave, get the service leader.
A parent wants their children to go into the same room. They are 3 and 7. Do we allow this?
No we do not allow this. We encourage each child to go to their own class. It's not safe for a 3 year old to be in elementary or a 7 year old to be in Clubhouse.

15 minutes before each service

1. A baby is crying unconsolably.
2. A child got hurt.
3. A child is causing a distraction for other kids to experience God.
