Why do we have small groups in Elementary?

Small groups is the heart of our church! We want people to grow in circles, not rows and we do the same in Point Kids!

When would a service leader call a parent out of service to come get their child?

1. If a child is being aggressive towards another child or a dream teamer (hitting, kicking, pushing).

2. If a child is very upset about being away from their parent and we have tried many things to calm them down.

3. If a child is being a huge disruption, the other kids can't experience God & they have had a conversation with a service leader.

I'm really having trouble with a child in class, what do I do?

Get the service leader (most of the time Abby, or whoever is leading service that day)

I know I am going out of town for vacation and can't serve one Sunday next month... how do I let my team leader know that?

Why do we send home the Take Home Sheets in Clubhouse and Elementary?

We send home Take Home Sheets to tell parents what their child learns on Sunday.

This encourages parents to take part in their children's relationship with Jesus!

What are 3 safety procedures we follow every Sunday to give parents confidence that their children are safe?

1. 2 people in every room: at least one adult

2. Check Safety tags during check out

3. Have cameras as an extra protocol. 

Other answers could include: check for allergies before given food, no outside food is to be brought into class, background checks.

What is a teenager's role when serving?

Their main goal: help the adult in the room. This could include: playing with kids, sitting with kids, encouraging kids to listen to the teacher, help with small groups, help with technology.

When am I able to leave my service area?

After everything on the "before you leave" sheet is completed in the Kids rooms. Check In/Service coordinator can leave during the last bit of check out, as parents are leaving as well. 

Teens: Check with the adult before leaving.
