This is a murder mystery novel. I do not like novels. In novels people say things like, ‘I am veined with iron and silver all throughout my body.’ What does this mean?

1st person is when the narrator tells the story through his/her perspective using feelings and/or thoughts. Meanwhile, 3rd person objective does not show any feelings or thoughts of any character, only what characters see.

No, the narrator can create a mood but it does not show characters feeling and/or emotions.

Omniscient-the narrator knows everything and shows the thoughts and feelings of every character.
Limited-the narrator shows the thoughts and feelings of one character.
Objective-the narrator does not show any feelings or thoughts of any character (shows what characters see).
As if unsure of her footing, she hesitantly crept down the hallway. She froze as the floor creaked, its sound breaking the silence of the night.
