Physical headcount is completed as swiftly and as quickly as possible. Headcount takes 5 to 15 seconds, depending on the bedroom layout.

Stop ALL traffic, SL & YCW must do physical count.
What is the ratio for children 0-2?
One staff for every three children ages zero (0) to two (2) years old. Ratio of 1:3
How often should a bed check log completed ?
Staff ensure that children are being checked at random intervals no longer than 15 minutes apart. (i.e., 5, 8, 10, or 15 minutes)
