How do we use the Medical Lock Box which can be found in our Emergency backpack. This is. NEW policy

1) All emergency medication must be kept in the classroom emergency bags

2) If a child with an emergency medication is away or has not arrived yet, their medication must be locked up and put away

3) Solution for this is to get small lock box for each emergency bag, and ensure that any students who are not at school or expected to arrive at school's emergency medication is kept inside the lockbox *does NOT need to be locked just shut closed

*Our solution and policy moving forward is for all of our emergency medication (epi pen or anything else) to be kept in these lock boxes and as drop off occurs, any child dropped off requiring an emergency medication, the teacher must move it out of the lockbox to the front pocket of the bag after signing in the students. It is your responsibility at the end of each day to ensure that all emergency medications are placed back into the lock box.
