What is Strengthening Our Military Families?
An individual who provides short-term, situational, problem-solving counseling services for issues that do not require more extensive psychological health care
What is a Military Family Life Consultant (MFLC)?
Provides assistance and advocacy for severely wounded and ill service members and their families
What is the Wounded Warrior Program?
One stop center for military members and their families to go to get information, obtain assistance, enroll in programs, and volunteer in their communities
What are the family support centers?
Provides an overview of military medical programs including medical education, research, and provision of medical care for all beneficiaries
What is the DoD Military Health System?
Offers eligible employees of covered employers job protected unpaid leave up to 12 work weeks to care for ill family members, one's own health conditions, or the birth/adoption of a child
What is the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)?
Provides information and resources on an array of topics that impact military life
What is Military OneSource?
Administered 90-180 days after returning from deployment to treat health and emotional issues before becoming chronic problems
What is the Post-Deployment Reassessment Health Assessment (PDRHA)?
2 mandated programs designed to identify and assist families requiring special services
What are exceptional family member program and Family Advocacy program?
Provide assistance and advocacy for severely wounded, ill, and injured service members and their families
What is the Wounded Warrior Program?
Prohibits employers from discriminating against employees considerations of joining the military, past, or current military service
What is the Uniformed Services Employment & Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA)?
Individuals who advise commanders on upholding the free exercise rights of religion
Who is Anthony?
DCoE program that promotes resilience, recovery, & the reintegration of returning service members and their families
What is the Real Warriors Campaign?
For families who want their children in a home environment or whose schedules are not conductive to using child care centers
What is the Family Childcare Program?
Covers out-patient and in-patient psychological care for military members or their families when a health-care provider deems it medically or psychologically necessary
What is TRICARE?
Responsible for establishing and maintaining all military community programs and policies for active duty service members and their families
What is the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Military Community and Family Policy ?
Non-medical counseling and referrals, address relationships, parenting, loss, and adjustment issues for military families
What is the Joint Family Support Assistance Program?
In the past, was often made up of individuals who had medial conditions, family issues, or other reasons to prevent them from deploying
What is the rear detachment?
Provides information and referrals to families to ease the process of transitioning and connect families with local resources

A tax-free grocery store on military installations throughout the world
What is the Commisary (DeCA)?
Training that encourages self-awareness, a strong mind, and psychological well-being based on physical, spiritual, emotional, family, and social health
What is the Army's Resilience Training program?
Program that offers a large variety of recreational programs on and off installation
What is Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR)?
Length of time after deployment where service members have time to readjust and recognize how deployment affected their health and well-being
