Flan- make a dry caramel, pour into prepared pans. Mix the ingredients for the custard in a bowl and pour into prepared pans. Bake in a water bath until slightly jiggly.

Squish your butter into your flour to make it pliable. Roll out the butter in the flour to create thin strips. Make a mountain and a well in the middle and pour your liquid in. Fold until all the liquid has been absorbed, flip the dough and repeat the process until it just comes together. Cut into squares, wrap and cool until ready to use.
