A paid position of regular employment that you do just to make money, that isn't for your whole life and you aren't necessarily passionate about.
What is a job?
Something you fill out online or on paper that expresses your interest in a job to an employer.

When you observe someone do their job.
What is a job shadow?
The action of representing oneself or one's views or interests.
What is self advocacy?
A college or training program that a student attends after high school.
An occupation undertaken for a significant period of a person's life and with opportunities for progress.
What is a career?
When you meet with the employer and answer questions about your work experience, strengths, and skills.
What is an interview?
When you ask someone a list of questions about their profession.
What is an informational interview?
An arrangement made so that someone with a disability can successfully complete a job.
What is a job accommodation?
An institution of higher education and that awards academic degrees in various disciplines

Jobs where you work with your hands such as carpentry or welding.
What are trades jobs?
A one-sheet paper all about your work history and skills.
What is a resume?
When you get to try out a job short term. May be paid or unpaid.
