TALID
These are the five(5) domains on the TALID.
What are task,area, language, interaction and direction?
A student leaves their desk without permission from staff but does return once redirected one time. The student receive this many points on his TALID
What is one (1) point?
Out of a normal 5 day week this is the number of successful days you must have to participate in the weekly incentive.
What is three (3) out of five (5) days?
This document(written or verbal) must be completed in its entirety before returning to the classroom after being in Restorative.

The maximum number of points earned each period.
What is ten (10) points?
The student puts forth FULL EFFORT towards assigned task/activity. The student receives this many points for his TALID
What is two (2) points
This action will cause you to be disqualified from a weekly incentive, ultimately the month incentive, too.
What is receiving a minor,major or IR during the week, up to and including the day of the planned incentive.
A student will drop one level and go to day one (1) of that level if this occurrence happens.
example: Level 4:15>Level 3:1
What is a major incident requiring an IR (Incident Report)

Who is Olive or OLLIE?
Johnny put his head down and fell asleep during the last five (5) minutes of morning work, Ms. Emily tries to wake him up when Math begins but he won't wake up. What areas of the TALID domain does he earn zero (0) points and he earns this as well.
What are ALL areas (Task.Area,Lanquage,Interaction, Direction) and a minor.
The student touches a staff/peer's desk or belongings WITHOUT permission. The student will receive this many TALID points.
What is zero (0) points?
This will exclude you from future Off-campus outings for a MINIMUM of one (1) month.
What is behaving inapropriately, not following expectations and all established rules during the incentive?
If this occurs, a student will spend the duration of their day in restorative, unable to earn TALID points.
What is a Major?
A specially designed space in the building with controlled sights, sounds, textures, and other stimuli; providing a safe, calming area to explore senses, self-regulate, and improve focus, social skills, and overall well-being
What is the Sensory room?
During morning check-in student refuses to remove outerwear and turn in requested items. This is the action that occurs.
What is receive all zeros (0) for that time period?
The student is unresponsive to staff after 2 directives-sleeping, ignoring,head down, etc. The student will receive this many points on the TALID?
What is zero (0) points?
Preparation, Recovery, Identification, Development, and Education
What are the five core pillars of the BHA PRIDE program?
All students who receive this will drop immediately to level 2, day 1, regardless of current level.
What is ISS(in-school suspension) or OSS (out-of-school suspension)?
This is the name of the hallway for grades kindergarten to 5th grade.
What is Cub hallway?
Student is on level 4 day 15 and didn't make his day for the last 6 consecutive days this puts him where with the TALID system.
What is level 4 day 11?
A student is rushing through their work at their desk, not following directions for the assignment, becomes annoyed with staff when directed to complete the assignment correctly by cussing under their breath, but returns to the task and completes it appropriately for the remainder of the period. The student earned this many points for the class period across all 5 domains.
What is six (6) points. 1 point each for task,language,interaction and direction. Two (2) for area.
