Depends. 

-If the policy was cancelled by ISSUER because of the UPS policy, then NO. 

-If the policy was cancelled for other reasons, then YES.

Policy 123 currently shows active 2/1/26 to 5/31/26. HICS wants Policy 123 active 1/1/26 to 12/31/26 due to UPS. There are no overlapping policies under the HIOS. What steps do you take?

Step 1: Submit the UPS ER&R form to update the end date to 12/31/26, making sure to use the current start date in SEED. 

Step 2: Once the end date has updated, submit the Benefit Start Date ER&R submission form (After verifying RCNO/RCNI match)
