Stop whatever conversation you might be having. Put up the signal above your head so they know you're listening :)
I need to use the bathroom. We are working independently. What should I do?
Ask Mr. Savage. Quietly get up from my seat. Make sure no one else has signed out. Sign out myself and leave.

I do not feel well. It is not an emergency (i.e I'm going to be sick). I feel like I need to see the nurse. What do I do?
Quietly raise your hand if during instruction. Go up to Mr. Savage during independent time. Model/Explain
WALK
I see a friend in the hallway passing by. What is the expectation?
I need to sharpen my pencil at the electric pencil sharpener. We are currently doing independent work. What should I do?
Quietly get up, use the sharpener for an appropriate amount of time. If the pencil gets too short get a new one.
Mr. Savage is in the middle of instruction. I need to go to the bathroom. What should I do?
Try and wait till end of instruction. If its an emergency/going to be sick let me know.
The fire alarm goes off. What is my job?
Line up SILENTLY at the door. Be ready to leave ASAP. Model/Explain
A teacher puts up the quiet signal to get your attention. What should you do?
Stop current conversation. Put quiet signal above your head. Look towards adult putting up the quiet signal.
A friend and I are whispering in line. Mr. Savage ends up catching us. What is the natural consequence for the rest of the line?
We are currently having a free snack because Mr. Savage decided to be nice. What is the main expectation?
We stay in our seats and talk in a quiet voice.
I just arrived in the classroom! What should I do before Morning Meeting Starts?
2. Take down my chair
3. Make sure I have my homefolder/agenda
4. Check the "TO DO" on the morning message
5. Stay in seat doing the "TO DO" before morning meeting begins
I need to enter the classroom but the door is closed. What is the expected behavior to let us know you need to be let in?
Knock on the door three times. Someone close to the door will open it. Wait 20ish seconds before trying to knock again

It is time to clean up! What is the expectation when cleaning up.
1. Throw out your own trash
2. Sweepers and table washers do your jobs
3. If you are not a sweeper or a table washer, stay out of the way so they can clean.
4. Stay in seat when possible.
When the whistle blows at recess, what is the expectation?
Line up quickly. Once in line wait for teacher to put up quiet signal. Quiet after, especially in halls

Be kind/respectful to others.
It's time to leave school for the day :(. What are the proceeders for dismissal?
1. Wait for Mr. Savage to say we can pack up
2. Look around my area. Is it clean? If not clean
3. Take my homefolder, agenda (maybe chromebook) and put up my chair.
4. Do my Job!

We should treat the substitute as we do with Mr. Savage. Expectations still apply.
How should we eat in the lunchroom?
Eat like you are with your family or at a restaurant.
Where/how should we lineup when leaving the classroom.

Walk to the cubbies. Make sure we are in a single file line. Once that has been done, we can leave to where we need to go :)
