What makes Hi-Stat different than ClingZ?

Hi-Stat uses plasticizers to stick.  ClingZ uses an electrically charge.   Hi-Stat adheres to only completely smooth indoor surfaces.   ClingZ adheres to any dry indoor surface.   Hi-Stat wide format is compatible with latex, UV, eco-solvent, solvent.  ClingZ is only compatible on UV wide format.

What does applying a top coating mean?

Applying a top coat means that coating is applied to the film during the manufacturing process.  Since all print systems use different techniques to stick/absorb to the sheet, different types of surface treatments are required.   A top coating allows the sheet to be compatible with different print platforms.

Hi-Stat clear is on a paper liner, Opti-Cling is on a film liner.  The paper liner soaks into the plasticizers to give that waterfall appearance.
