What does ASE stand for?
At&t Switch Ethernet
What does ADI stand for?
AT&T Dedicated Internet
What does ADE stand for?
At&T Dedicated Ethernet
What does AVPN stand for?
AT&T Virtual Private Network
What does EPLS stand for?
Ethernet Private Line Service
Network configuration
POINT TO POINT, POINT TO MULTIPOINT & MULTIPOINT TO MULTIPOINT
Installation types:
On-site installation, telle install, self install

Diversity / Protection
BONUS!!
Diversity: port diversity, alternate wire center, inter wire
Protection: provides duplicate signal routed
Differentiation between MANAGED & UNMANAGED
Managed: ATT will configure router, managed AVPN the PM will set up an onsite TTU(Test and Turn UP)
Unmanaged: we provide access and customer connect and manages their own equipment, the customer will do a plug and play, customer will call in to complete TTU
TYPES
Point to Point Private Line – Point to Point has only two ends to the circuit, Location A (CKL 1) and Location Z (CKL 2). Applications for Point to Point would be connecting the customer’s warehouse to their main office, either locally or across the nation.
Point to POP Private Line – Point to POP has one end in Location A (CKL 1) and one end in a POP (CKLP 1). Applications for Point to POP would be connecting an additional site to the customer’s infrastructure or providing Long Distance Services by connecting to a POP.
POP to POP Private Line – POP to POP connects POP A (CKLP 1) and POP Z (CKLP 2) via Inter-office Connection or IOC. Applications for POP to POP would be connecting the customer’s site that has long distance service so that they can exchange information directly via the pop.
What does ASE provide?
It provides highly secure access & transport for the customer of Voice, video, data, internet & mobile traffic.
What does ADI provide?
ADI provides high speed dedicated interenet access for business of all sizes. AT&T manage the connection, montiros the network 24/7.
Symmetic Upload & Download Speeds
What does ADE provide?
Point to point, In-region, intraLata Ethernet service that uses fiber to allow customers to transport data signals between two locations
How it works?
AVPN transports traffic across the MPLS enabled ATT Global Network
The network uses standard IP routing in conjunction with fast label switching to efficiently
Definition
A dedicated circuit connecting two or more locations that can be used to transmit data, voice and video applications.
Private Lines are dedicated to one specific customer for their use only. These circuits connect in several configurations, though the two most common connections are either 2 customer locations (Point to Point) or many customer locations (Multi-Point).

What is a carrier hotel?
location where multiple carriers co-locate in order to connect to each other, as well as to facilitate connections to Interexchange Carriers to their POPs. Landlords hire Vendors to facilitate connections to the "Meet Me Room" so the Carriers can connect to each other. It provides competitive pricing rates for LNS Total Service Local Channel circuits going from specific, designates AT&T POPs to select CH locations

PROCESS
PRE SALES: SPOC
PM Assignment: Confirm technical information, hand off, kick off call. Add PM and OM name to contacts in Dynamite
Infrastructure Build: NSPM (Similar to NSSPM in ASE). We use chatbot to contact NSPM. Access GRETA. Track IB milestones, engage NSS/Sales/Customer as needed.
Order Creation: On Quick Base we communicate with OM, create engagement. SPOC: Order Manager. PM: In order Manager ask for Order Creation.
Provisioning: CLO/Order Number. SPOC: ENOC. Other people involved
Different types of PONs
UNI PON: orders the port access service via the circuit location
EVC PON: orders the ethernet virtual Connection via the Circuit Location.
ESA PON: The ESA PON is for a Dedicated POP Collector and is only needed on a Switched over Dedicated.
