Yes.
Because E-cigarettes don't have tobacco but have many OTHER ingredients that are dangerous, like nicotine and many seriously harmful carcinogens that cigarettes don't have and even heavy metals, such as nickel, tin, and lead.

Most young people don’t drink alcohol. Research shows that almost 75 percent of 12- to 20-year-olds have not used any alcohol, or have had a very limited experience.

No. PL is a nonprofit organization, meaning we are funded through grants that we write and apply for.
Is vaping addictive?
Yes. Youth who vape are 4x more likely to smoke later in life, as the nicotine in vapes is very addictive.
Underage drinking has severe consequences, including injury or death from accidents; academic problems; and drug use. Young people who drink are also more likely to have health issues such as depression and anxiety disorders.

Yes! There is a community center on 503 C St. in N. Wilkesboro where we meet with youth who want to help out with planning events (we have a warehouse with pool tables, foosball, ping pong, basketball hoop shoot, shuffle board, and more) as well as for adults to come in and have a free cup of coffee and a safe place.
