Phenomena
These undead figures from Norse and Icelandic mythology exist either to guard their treasure, wreak havoc on living beings, or torment those who had wronged them in life.
These ghosts are well known through out Asia and are believed to have been false, corrupted, compulsive, deceitful, jealous or greedy people in a previous life. They appear human-like, but with sunken, mummified skin, narrow limbs, enormously distended bellies and long, thin necks.
This spirit is a ghost of a woman who lost her children and now cries while looking for them in the river, often causing misfortune to those who are near or hear her.
