The PSP Lamp Block contains four of these, used to emit the light needed for treatment. It is important that they are not touched with bare hands.

What are Halogen Bulbs?

1

This process will confirm the PSP is set up to deliver the correct injectable dosage.

What is volume testing?

1

This module is responsible for detecting the position of the PSP by using an emitter and detector.

What is an Index?

1

The most common error on the PSP. Although its name specifies a specific module, the error triggers whenever the PSP did not rotate correctly.

What is an error 82?

1

This screen allows you to easily enable or disable services as well as change parameters such as lamp power on multiple PSPs at once.

What is the PSP Settings Screen?

2

The voltage required to power the Beak Treatment process comes from this module, whose four green lights indicate proper power on each cell.

What is a 100v Power Supply?

2

One of the most common causes of bloods on inject QC. Dropping the Luer into the Inject Head is almost certain to cause these.

What are burred needles?

2

This pair of modules work in tandem to ensure the PSP stops in the correct position. There can be rotation issues when either or both fail.

What is the Detent Cylinder and Detent Manifold?

2

Also known as negative dump, this error occurs whenever a Head Holder was sensed as loaded by the Load Station and empty by the Bird Counter.

What is an error 84?

2

Collecting data, clearing error counts, and packaging billing information are the functions of this process, a requirement after the hatch is complete.

What is End of Day?

3

The cleanliness of these two parts (both found on the same module) are critical for good calibration and treatment.

What are the Lenses and Ellipses?

3

Often referred to as "aggressive" or "non-aggressive" the position of this has a large impact on inject efficacy.

What is needle bevel orientation?

3

The Stepper Motor utilizes this measurement system to identify its positioning. These can be read on the control panel during operation.

What are encoder counts?

3

This error occurs whenever the calibration failed, usually because the previous multipliers are too far away from the now multipliers. It can also happen due to a bad bulb or faulty modules.

What is an error 92?
3

Key diagnostics such as multipliers, motor currents, rotor lash, Lamp Block temp and many others can be found on this screen.

What is the PSP Current Status Screen?

4

These four Beak Treatment errors indicate that no current is sensed through a bulb. Usually due to the bulb burning out.

What are lamp errors 01, 02, 03 and 04?

4

If this is set too low it will compromise the inject volume and the ability of the inject system to tilt.

What is PSP regulator PSI?

4

This problem, resulting from a broken spring, causes the module to catch on reflectors and the PSP to stutter upon rotation.

What are stuck Ejectors?

4

This error can occur when you have an issue with your detent system or if the PSP was turned on without air.

What is an error 97?

4

The PPA communicates with each control panel using this module. The statistics of this communication can be monitored using "Packet RX stats" on the PPA.

What is the PSP Radio?

5

The upper and lower ends of the displayable calibration range, these multiplier numbers will always cause a calibration fail.

What are multipliers 74 and 176?

5

Vaccine continuously flowing out of the needle could be a failure of this module, whose output gate is stuck open.

What is the Peristaltic Pump?

5

One of the more interesting failures with this module can make the entire PSP spin backwards.

What is the Secondary Power Supply?

5

This indicates that the PPA has not connected back to Nova-Tech or that the hatchery has an outstanding invoice. Also known as the shutdown error.

What is an error 99?

5

This function allows the user to remove any non-communicating control panels from being displayed on the PPA.

What is Reset Communication List?
