Attributions- Inferences that people make about the causes of events and behavior.

Attributions-explanation for events or actions, including other people's behavior.
People make attributions in order to understand their experiences.

Internal-explanation based on people's internal characteristics(personality?) (own choice)

What is the difference between implicit and explicit attitudes?
Difference- Influences at an unconscious level
Implicit attitudes are evaluations that occur without conscious awareness towards an attitude object or the self.
Explicit attitudes are the conscious and chosen attitudes that a person displays while interacting with the world.
What is cognitive dissonance?
Discomfort when two cognitions(beliefs attitudes) conflict, or when they behave in ways that are inconsistent with their conception of themselves
