What is a Independent Variable (IV)?
Frequency of scores at or below a certain value
What is cumulative frequency (cf)?
Term for a score's number of standard deviations away from the mean
What is z-score?
A numerical description of a population
What is a parameter?
How often a score appears at a specific value relative to all the data
What is relative proportion (p)?
Denominator when finding variance or SD of a population
What is N?
Scale of measurement with inherent order and equal intervals, but zero does not mean a complete absence
What is interval scale?
The score on a scale that a certain % of scores fall at or below
What is percentile (P)?
Denominator when finding variance or SD of a sample
What is n-1?
