Counseling- focuses more on adjustment issues and a wider range of issues. Clinical- focuses more on diagnostics and the more severe mental health disorders They are both similar in that they both might employ individual and group therapy techniques.

Defense mechanisms are used to protect our minds. They are good because they reduce anxiety and dissonance within a person. It is bad because of how well they work and people can rely on them too much.

Describe what a positive and negative correlation look like.
Positive- If one thing increases/decreases the other will increase/decrease, respectively. Negative- If one thing goes up/down the other will go down/up, respectively.
