Gender roles have changed over time as men no longer need to be 'strong and aggressive' and women now enjoy working. Explain why gender stereotypes might be hurtful to women if you assume they should be at home.

In the past, society was designed for men to work and women to take care of children, but that is not the case anymore. A gender role is one chosen by the person so if a woman wants to work, enjoy their life, and people label them as someone who should stay home, that can be hurtful. It will also reduce the chances of finding a partner!
