During puberty adolescents start to feel conscious about themselves, linking their self-worth with how their body looks and comparing their body to others, this leads to experimenting and experiencing different things so that they know themselves better but also what makes them unique and different to others. But with these attempts to find who they are might lead to a sort of pressure to fit in.

Why is it important that I accept myself?

Embrace Self-Acceptance: when you go through puberty your body and emotions are rapidly changing and that sometimes causes you to feel a little bit insecure so practicing self-acceptance will help you feel better about yourself.
