Ensure safety of all employees participating in emergency response. Maintain ongoing communication with all PWD personnel to ensure access to current and accurate information. Respond to street and road conditions to ensure that roadways and bridges are maintained accordingly for emergency vehicles (APD, AFD and EMS) and to respond to issues arising from the Emergency Operations Center, traffic control and incident response. Facilitate emergency acquisition of equipment and supplies during emergency event. Secure all projects and put “on hold” until released. Maintain employee payroll and respond to workers’ compensation issues.
