What did MSK recently centralize related to PAS?
How do you schedule an Outpatient Case Request?
1. Opening the patients chart in Cadence, 2. entering the information for the case into Book It, 3. Scheduling the OR appointment. 4. Emailing the provider and OR team once appointment is scheduled.
Bonus: If the case is needed same day or outside of the providers OR template, the team reaches out to the OR scheduling team by email.

When can Case Requests be scheduled?
Case requests can be scheduled during the provider's scheduled Endo templates, or can be requested to be added on outside of these templates by the endo schedulers.
How do you send out Pleurex Kits?
1. Create UPS form for patients
2. Send to nurse and CC located at Clinic
3. Nurse and CC collect materials and send to patient
4. OC or CC schedules appointments as needed for patients.
Where in CIS can you view external patient records without going into EMR?

A patient needs to be referred for a Breast medicine consult to determine if they require treatment. What steps are needed for the patient to be referred to this group?
Their external / primary care provider should request a referral for the patient to be seen by MSK for this specialty. The patient should submit the external referral to the PAS fax and call the PAS line to schedule.
