What are some differences between UCR and NVCS?
UCR- Uniform Crime Report- Used by FBI to identify the most serious crimes such as murder and non-negligent manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft, and arson.
NCVS- National Crime Victimization Survey-
Surveys households randomly selected from a stratified multistage cluster sample; interviews administrated by U.S. Census Bureau
Reports same types of crimes as UCR except for homocide and arson.
