THE FORMS OF THE VERB TO BE ARE:
Present simple: AM/IS/ARE
Past simple: WAS/ WERE
When you see these forms they have to repeat in the question tag (in either positive or negative form, depending on the main sentence)
She is home (positive sent.), isn't she? (negative question tag)
She isn't happy, ____________?
They are at school, ____________?
We are ready, ____________?
auxiliary verbs: DO and DOES
positive sentence - negative question tag
negative sentence - positive question tag
She comes to school on time, ____________?
She doesn't know what to do, ____________?
auxiliary verbs: HAVE and HAS
positive sentence - negative question tag
negative sentence - positive question tag
I haven't done my homework, ________?
She has travelled to Brazil, __________?
auxiliary verb: DID
positive sentence - negative question tag
negative sentence - positive question tag
She bought her a present, didn't she?
She didn't like the film, did she?
VERB HAVE CAN BE USED AS AN AUXILIARY VERB (WITH PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE AND CONTINUOUS)
I have recently called you. (present perfect simple)
I have been planning my holiday. (present perfect continuous)
When verb TO HAVE is a part of these two tenses you repeat it in negative or positive form depending on the form of the main sentence.
It's easier when you have a negative sentence as you just need to make the form of the verb to be positive:
You aren't done, are you?
She isn't at school, ____________?
Present Perfect SIMPLE:
I have finished my homework, haven't I?
She hasn't called you, has she?
Present Perfect CONTINUOUS
She has been redecorating her room, hasn't she?
She hasn't been responding to messages lately, has she?
If you have Present Continuous Tense or Past Continuous Tense it is the same idea. You keep the -ing form, but you do all the changes with the verb to be.
They were listening to music, weren't they?
We aren't talking about that, are we?
She wasn't running to school when she saw him, was she?
QUESTION TAGS

DO and DOES
to form the question tags
YOU CANNOT REPEAT IT IN THE QUESTION TAG.

You have a car, don't you?
I have got a car.
