How do you conjoin complex sentences?

Subordinating conjunctions combine an independent clause with a dependent clause.

How do you use punctuation in quotes?

You must start off the quote with a capital first word if it is the beginning of the quote. If the whole sentence continues after the quote, you must use a comma to replace the period within the quote. However, a comma does not replace a question mark or an exclamation point within the quote.
