The set of beliefs, values and ideas that a person or group uses to make sense of life, the world and their place in it. It is something that everyone has.

What is the primary difference between a secular worldview and a religious worldview?
A secular worldview looks at life and the world without trying to depend on religious beliefs or a belief in a god or gods.
A religious worldview is based on belief in a higher power or divine reality (like God or gods), and often includes sacred texts and teachings
What does the word "religion" mean?
The root is the latin word "religare" which means "to bind." So, something that binds the believer to other people, beliefs, community, and the world.
What are two ways in which our hunger for connection can be satisfied?
Relationship with other people, with nature, with God. (All connected)
