What does LLC stand for?

Where may you enter the residence halls from?

Everyone must enter each residence hall at the main entrance, but may exit at any door within the building.

Is smoking allowed on anywhere on campus?

No, you may not smoke anything anywhere on campus.

Are pets allowed in on-campus housing?

Pets are not allowed in the Residence Halls with the exception of fish in aquariums no larger than 10 gallons. Only one 10-gallon container (or smaller) per resident is allowed in the Residence Halls. If a resident has a pet, it needs to be a registered Emotional Support Animal.

What does IR stand for?

Do I have to wear my mask to the bathroom?

Yes, except if you live in the Commons or Suites. A mask is required to be worn from your personal room to the community bathroom.

What should be done with personal trash?

All trash needs to be placed in the large green dumpster close too the residence hall.

Are meal plans required for students living in the Residence Halls?

Yes, all residence halls except the Commons will require a meal plan.

What are quiet hours?

Quiet hours are 10pm-10am on weekdays (Sunday-Thursday), and 12am-10am on weekends (Friday-Saturday).

What does RSS stand for? 

Resident Satisfaction Survey. This will be given out once a semester to your residents to fill out about their Housing experience.

Can my friend from Suites come visit me?

Yes, but only if you are a resident in Suites. For example, HD Jono can hang out with RA Austin, but RA Emilie cannot hang out with HD Jono in the Suites.

Are students required to live on campus?

No! Some Universities require freshman and upperclassmen to stay on campus, but UCO does not!

What are the steps when alcohol is involved?

Call your on call partner, take a picture of residents ID, have residents pour alcohol out in front of you, escort residents to dumpster to toss out bottles/cans, write/complete a incident report.

What does EWC stand for?

Environmental Wellness Checks. This task will be completed by you all twice a semester (September and October). You will be asked to check your residents rooms for cleanliness, correct use of appliances, any items that are a housing violation, etc.

How far in advance do event requests need to be made?

Your event request will need to be submitted through a Qualtrics form at least 3 weeks prior to the event.

Can you have guests over?

Yes, you may have one guest over but the person must be living in your building and must have a mask on. No outside visitors are allowed.

Is free tutoring available on campus? 

Yes! Tutoring Central is free to all students. There is one located in West Hall and maybe the Quad's west wing.

What does ESA mean?

Emotional Support Animal, in order to have this service animal on campus, it must be properly approved first.

Am I allowed to hang out and play pool in the lobby? 

Yes, the RA on call will be wiping the pool and ping pong table down each time someone uses it.
