When are quiet hours, weekdays versus weekends, and what is volume/type of noise is described as a policy violation?
Quiet hours are defined as:
10 p.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday-Thursday
12 a.m. (midnight) to 10 a.m. Friday-Saturday.
Unacceptable noise defined as “any noise that can be heard outside of the residence hall rooms or exterior community spaces”. Additionally, noise that interferes with the study or sleep of others is prohibited.
What do you do if there is a fire alarm?
If Coreena is around and has called OUPD - look to the group me for communication. Help escort residents out of the building and guard doorways until Coreena has given the all clear to enter. Gather info on the cause, and complete the Fire Report on Roompact.
If Coreena is not around - an RA/the RA on duty must call OUPD to report the evac. Work together! Guard doorways, and communicate. Call pro staff on duty. Wait for the Fire Department to exit the building, ask them what was the cause and what room. Send all clear communication. Speak with the residents of room, document in fire report, document in IR if needed.

Call OUPD to document vandalism, call facilities for repairs and possible leak damage, call pro staff to make them aware, document in IR with pictures.

What is considered alcohol/drug paraphernalia that is prohibited, versus alcohol/drug material that students are permitted to have?
Prohibited Alcohol Paraphernalia - labeled open or unopened cans/bottles, kegs, beer bongs, decorative bottles. Any item that's purpose is to store AND consume alcohol
Prohibited Drug Paraphernalia - visibly used bongs, pipes, bowls, pens, grinders. Nicotine products if student is not 21. Marijuana plants.
Permitted materials - advertisements, glassware, nicotine and alcohol products if they are 21.
How do you respond to an incident involving alcohol in a students room?
Call your secondary RAOD for support
Approach calmly. Ask for student IDs and write down their names. Take pictures of the alcohol. Ask students to dump the alcohol in the bathroom, and take bottles/cans to the dumpster. Document in IR.

What are the two common violations that are considered both vandalism and fire safety violations?

How do you respond to a medical emergency where a student in unconscious? What specific 'role' would the student be in documentation?
Call OUPD, call Pro Staff on Duty. Call your secondary RAOD and have them let OUPD/EMS in the building. Inform OUPD/EMS of what you know, and allow them to take the lead. Help Pro Staff try to determine who the student is. Document in an IR.
