8hr: AL, not points in engagement and social skills for the duration of the protocol, must process with a coach to get off
I am getting sick ....eeek. I do not think I am going to be able to make it to work tomorrow. What should I do?
Text shift lead for your shift EARLY (day before if possible, as soon as you know you won't be able to work).
Find coverage ASAP
If unable to find coverage, rub some dirt in it... the reality is we are a treatment facility. You are required for ratio unless you are vomiting. Wear a mask.
Most of the time my dysregulation comes in the form of targeting or micromanaging peers. I typically do this to feel a sense of control because I have really low self esteem. I enjoy magic and typically don't report concerns I have unless explicitly asked or they have been resolved. Who's that pokemon?
Will

Explain the differences between self harm, suicide watch and continuous observation.
(AL, bathroom protocol, pocket checks and off campus)
Self harm: a student has an intention or is likely to harm themselves without intent to end their life. Will have an AL that counts for ratio, frequent pocket checks, bathroom door is closed but must count, can go off campus if ratio allows it and are following AL
Suicide watch: A student has expressed suicidal ideation without a plan or intent to act. will have an AL that counts for ratio, frequent pocket checks, bathroom door is closed but must count, can go off campus if ratio allows it and are following AL. Therapist will evaluate student once every 24hrs
Continuous observation: A student has both a plan and intent to act to end their life or cause debilitating injury. Staff is 1:1 with the student (does not count towards ratio), bathroom door must stay open and continuous contact, pocket checks and room search will take place. Student cannot go off campus for any reason.
True or false: I should check my work email daily.
TRUE!!!!! You are responsible for all information emailed to you.
I tend to be likeable and fly under the radar for my dysregulative behaviors. When dysregulated I like to slip away and be alone or lay face down on the coach. I will often regulate by engaging with coaches who are my preferred peers. I want to be a student leader but struggle with my moral compass at times and get sucked into peer pressure. Who's that pokemon?
Gabe
