"Is it permissible to pay Zakat al-Fitr (Fitrana) to an online charity organization, which takes the money before Ramadan ends to distribute food later, given that this action appears to contradict the Sunnah of distributing food personally to the poor, and the requirement of it being given before the Eid prayer?"

When you give money to a charity, you are appointing them as your legal Wakil. In Islamic jurisprudence, the Wakil acts on your behalf. As long as you hand the money to the Wakil before the Eid prayer, you have fulfilled your obligation on time.

Yes it is permissible.
