Memorial Student Center (MSC)

The first ones were actually FRESHMEN who dressed in the janitor's clothes to help rile up the crowd, but they got too much attention from the visiting ladies that the seniors quickly made the role an upperclassmen position. Pull Out Day
Every first Tuesday of the month, Aggies silently stand to honor deceased students which have passed away that month. At this event buglers play to the north, south, and west, but not the east because "the sun will never rise for that Aggie again."

2:42 AM November 18, 1999 12 people lost their lives when the stack set for the bonfire collapsed. Today this memorial stands to honor those who lost their lives and each year students gather at this time to pay their respects.

Ring Day
1906 graduate Pinky Downs coined this phrase at a 1930 Midnight Yell when the Aggies were going to take of the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs. It was accompanied by a thumbs up which became the first hand signal of the Southwest conference.
