A Financial Planner
A financial planner with RBC does not require any additional post-secondary school. However, previous experience in financial services and financial planning is required. A Mutual Funds License and Financial Planning accreditation is also required.

USTAY and/or UHAUL. Powell River currently has two Financial Planners, and it is also a role that can be acquired at any RBC branch across Canada. A Financial Planner position typically requires previous experience as a Banking Advisor or Financial Advisor.

USTAY and/or UHAUL. Client Advisor is the most entry-level position at RBC in Powell River, and would be a great position for a university student, or recent graduate. Learned skills and procedures are transferrable between branches, which gives you the flexibility to work while away at school and at home during the summers.

Internship. Data analysts, data scientists, product associates, relationship managers, client advisors, and so much more. RBC offers a wide range of co-op's and internships for a variety of departments. Depending on your university, you might be able to earn credits towards your degree through one these internships.
