The next day, I went skiing with my dad who is a good skier. We looked over the trail map and decided to start on a green route, the easiest to ski. The ski lift took us to the beginning of the trail. I was able to get off of the lift without embarrassing myself. I looked down the trail and couldn’t believe that this could be an “easy” trail. It was long and steep than the training slopes. I immediately got knots in my stomach. I said to my dad, “I don’t know if I can do this.” He told me that he believed in me. Then, we reviewed what I had learned.
