FALSE: Many people become addicted to substances prescribed to them initially by a doctor. These individuals also seek treatment in recovery!
These are Christianity-based support groups in the community. Group sessions are typically preceeded by a sermon.

What is PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder?
A person you call when you are struggling with cravings, and who is a mentor in your recovery.
What is a SPONSOR?

These support groups are available to all Tangu participants AFTER they discharge-complete from the program.

This personality disorder is characterized by unstable mood, behavior, and relationships. Often associated with suicidal threats, insecurity, impulsivity, and extreme efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment.
What is Borderline Personality Disorder? or BPD
A coping skill associated with the practice of mindfulness and calming techniques.
What is MEDITATION?
TRUE OR FALSE: Opiates have surpassed alcohol as the deadliest drug class in the United States.
False. Alcohol still kills many more people than opiates. In fact, alcohol kills more people in the United States than all other drugs combined.
