Any promises or favors indirectly or directly given to a PNM by a member
What is bid promising?
The round where PNMs come to the house and are given short presentations. There is less in-depth conversation
What is open house?
Process starting right after bid day that allows chapters to recruit up to total
What is continuous open bidding?
A score that is not very helpful when voting on PNMs
What is 3?
The amount of money a new member has to pay
What is $535?
8 am October 11th to 8 am October 19th
What is dry period?
The time and date of philanthropy round
What is October 13 at 5 pm (round starts at 6 but set-up starts at 5)?
PNMs that we can give a bid to that participated in at least one round of recruitment
What are snap bids?
This score makes up 60% of the score for the PNM
What is the ARC score?
Our philanthropy
What is Fighting Hunger?
Time period from the end of our preference round until bid day where you can not talk to the PNMs
What is no talk period?
This is a more intimate round where we do a special ceremony on October 15th starting at 6:30 pm (set up at 5:30)
What is preference round?
The number of potential new members each chapter can offer bids to during primary recruitment
What is quota?
This is the most important section of scoring when voting on a PNM. It relates to how well you think would fit with AGD
What is connectivity?
The attire for philanthropy round
What are pastals/springy clothes?
The 5 Ps that neither you nor the PNM can talk about during recruitment
What are politics, parties, partners, prayer, and peers?
The time and date we have to be at bid day to welcome our new members home
What is October 18th at 6:30 pm?
Allowed chapter size determined by panhel that includes both initiated and non initiated members
What is total?
When voicing a membership concern during voting, you can only a include a certain kind of information
What is information learned during recruitment conversation?
The event for new members that happens the day after bid day
What is the pinning ceremony?
These are siblings that won’t helping during rounds and we can’t hang out with in public spaces during recruitment
What are Rho Gams?
The time and date all members HAVE to be in the house and ready for open house (required by panhel)
What is 7:45 am on October 12?
a PNM that has a familial relationship to an Alpha Gamma Delta member
What is a legacy?
The only PNMs you can vote on
What are PNMs you have spoken to?
This is what will happen if you are late to a round (without an excuse note submitted 72 hours prior) or not in the proper attire
What is you will not be allowed to participate and will recieve a fine?
